CONTENT CREATOR

 Duration: July–August

 Hours: 2–3 days per week, 7 hours 30 minutes per day

 Salary: £12.71 per hour

 Location: Manchester city centre

About the role

We’re looking for a creative and enthusiastic Social Media Content Creator intern to help launch and grow an exciting new TikTok campaign related to the built environment industry.

 This is a great opportunity for someone interested in social media, content creation, marketing or digital comms who wants hands on experience working on a brand new campaign.

What you’ll be doing

Throughout your time with us, you will be tasked with:

  • Supporting filming days and helping capture video content

  • Editing TikTok videos

  • Creating captions

  • Suggesting new content ideas for the campaign

  • Helping organise filming schedules and liaise with interviewees

  • Monitoring engagement and reporting on performance

What we’re looking for

You don’t need any previous experience. We’re just looking for someone who is positive, personable and keen to get hands on and help us to drive this campaign forward. However, the following skills are desirable: 

  • Interest in social media, especially TikTok

  • Filming experience

  • Basic video editing skills using Canva or a similar software

  • Creative eye for visuals

  • Strong written communication skills

  • Good organisational skills

  • Confident working with people and interviewing people

  • Willingness to learn
